We are beyond excited to announce that our 2025 Shamrock’n 5K, 7-Mile, and Half Marathon races are officially SOLD OUT! Every single spot has been claimed, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible support and enthusiasm from all of you! You’ve made this race a huge success already, and we can't wait to see you out there on race day!
Due to strict guidelines with our permit within the park, it’s crucial that we manage the race efficiently to ensure its continued success and growth. Our dedicated team will be closely overseeing the staggered starts to ensure that everyone is properly registered, with their timing tag securely on their shoe and race bib clearly displayed on the front of their body.
If you weren’t able to register in time, please remember: banditing or attempting to steal an entry not only takes away from the event experience for others, but it’s also unfair to the integrity of the race. We ask that you respect the event, its participants, and our amazing volunteers who make it all possible.

Route Highlights
This beautiful 21.1KM & 7 Mile course circles Burnaby Lake, giving you the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, exercise and more chances to view birds and animals in this wilderness environment. Join other walkers & runners on this scenic course throughout the trails of Burnaby Lake.
Located in the middle of the city, Burnaby Lake Regional Park is a stunning wildlife sanctuary. The lake was created by a glacier 12,000 years ago and its shores were home to sawmills in the late 1800's.
We race Burnaby Lake twice a year with annual races, Shamrock’n Race in March and the Rubber Ducky in October. The Shamrock’n Race 7 Mile and Half Marathon circle the lake clockwise and the Rubber Ducky 7 Mile and Half Marathon circle the lake counter clockwise.
